ถ้ำน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์ หุบเขาชัยบุรี

ถ้ำน้ำ ตั้งอยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกของเขาชัยบุรี ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ที่หมู่ที่ ๑ตำบลชัยบุรี อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพัทลุงเดินจากตีนเขาขึ้นไปจนถึงปากถ้ำระยะทางประมาณ ๒๑๕ เมตร ทางเดินขึ้นไปมีหินน้อยใหญ่สูงชันมาก ลักษณะเป็นป่าเขาหินปูน ปัจจุบันทางขึ้นก่อสร้างบันได ๔๐๙ ขั้น มีศาลาที่พักระหว่างทางเป็นจุดชมวิวอีกที่หนึ่งที่มีความสวยงามมาก ปากถ้ำเป็นช่องขนาดเล็ก ภายในเป็นถ้ำ ๓ ชั้น ชั้นแรกมีปากถ้ำสูงประมาณ ๖๐ เซนติเมตร เป็นห้องโถงที่ไม่ใหญ่นัก หน้าฝนมีน้ำขังตลอดเวลา ชั้นที่ ๒ เป็นถ้ำน้ำที่กว้าง ลึกประมาณ ๑๖ เมตร ผนังถ้ำและเพดานถ้ำมีลวดลายสวยงามแปลกตา ส่วนชั้นที่ ๓ เป็นห้องโถงอยู่เหนือน้ำ มีหินงอกหินย้อยที่สวยงาม มีความแวววาวระยิบระยับเป็นสีเหลืองทองอยู่ทั่วบริเวณ ชาวบ้านเชื่อกันว่า เป็นทางผ่านเข้าเมืองลับแล

Nam Saksit (Sacred Water) Cave, Chaiburi Valley

Nam Cave is located in the west of Chaiburi Mountain, village no.1, Chaiburi Sub-District, Muang District, Phatthalung Province. Itis 215 meters from the foot of the mountain. The path leading to the cave is a limestone forest with high and very steep rocks. There is currently a stairway with 409 steps leading up to the entrance, with a rest stop and a comfortable pavilion where visitors can take a break and admire the beautiful scenery.

The entrance is a narrow hole. The interioris divided into 3 parts. The mouth of the first floor is approximately 60 cm high. It is a medium-sized hall that is generally flooded throughout the rainy season. The second floor is a vast, approximately 16 meter deep, water cave withexotic patterns all over its walls and ceiling. Finally, the third floor is a hall above water, adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites that shine like gold all over the place. The locals believe it is the entrance to MuangLaplae, the hidden and legendary city.
